1 Apply
Submit a free admissions application online using the CCC Application - Use your personal email address when applying.
Have your government issued photo ID ready to upload in your application – this is what CCC will use to determine your residency status.
When your application has been processed, you will receive a certificate of Admission email with your Comet ID and Student ID. It can take up to 24 hours for us to process your application.
2 Activate Your Account
After your Certificate of Admission, you will receive another email with your myCCC link. Use this link to activate your myCCC account.
If you need help accessing your myCCC account, contact the ITS Help Desk.
3 Verify your Residency
Your residency status determines your tuition cost.
Your residency status determination will arrive to the personal email address CCC has on file, including requests for additional documentation if necessary.
4 Ways to Pay for College
How much does it cost? The cost to attend CCC varies based on your residency status, credit load and other factors.
Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) - Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at the Federal Student Aid Website with CCC’s School Code: 031004. The FAFSA application is available online for the next academic year on October 1st. Check the status: 7-10 business days after submitting your FAFSA by going to and logging into your portal at myCCC.
Scholarships - The CCC scholarship application opens at the beginning of December and closes at the end of February for the next academic year.
Veterans and Military Family Members - VA Education Benefits – Visit our Veteran Services page for information on activating your benefits and sources of funding.
Self-Pay, Payment Plans, 3rd Party Billing - Visit our student accounts page for information about payment options and deadlines.
5 Complete Placement

6 Meet with an Advisor to Register for Classes
Meet with an Academic Advisor to plan your academic pathway and register for classes. Verify payment has been arranged (see Step 4). Students are dropped if they miss payment deadlines.
7 Complete Orientation
New Student Orientation (COL 098) is for you! Register and learn about planning for success, college technology and our academic support programs.
